Surrounded by national parks and situated at the end of the road it's a great spot for anyone wanting the quintessential Australian beach getaway.

The beach is enclosed at either end by rocky headlands and is ideal for surfing swimming strolling or fishing. Patrolled swimming areas are found at both ends with natural protected rock pools safe for little ones.

Cochrane lagoon has a safe swimming beach popular with young families. Also perfect for Duck feeding, fishing, kayaking or kicking back and watching the sun set.
